Millers held in stalemate

MILLERS boss Ronnie Moore has urged fans to stay patient after they were held to a 0-0 Don Valley stalement by struggling Bradford City last night.

Moore watched in frustration as his side failed to make an impact - and only escaped with a point after second half heroics from keeper Andy Warrington, who made several key saves to deny the Bantams.

Now Moore will try to pep up his team as they head to Bury on Saturday.

He said: "We had a chance to go top if the other results had gone our wy but people have to understand that we wouldn't have won the championship tonight. It's a long season."

United only had a handful of chances, the best being an Adam Le Fondre effort which was deflected wide.
