Millers’ stars will go head-to-head with players from Rotherham Ladies two days earlier in a table football battle to raise awareness of the event, which showcases services and organisations for the disabled in Rotherham.

Event organiser Tom Sweetman said: “We were hoping for a couple of players to support this important event and then we got the lot.

“Ronnie and Rotherham United are known for their community work, but this is simply amazing.

“Every fan must now see this as a must-attend occasion.

"Last year, support was limited as the team had a fixture on the same day, but this time Ronnie Moore is really digging in deep and sending along everybody to meet the fans.

“Ronnie and the squad will be attending from noon until 1pm and appearing on the massive show stage that sits at the centre of the event.

“It’s a terrific opportunity to have your photo taken with the whole squad and get their autographs."

Fairs Fayre is a free event running from 10am to 3pm. Last year, the event was attended by over 4,000 people and the organisers are hoping for a few more this time around.

The table football duel will take place at Rotherham United's club souvenir shop at 2pm on Monday, October 26.
