Masked men threatened Maltby takeaway owner in armed raid

TWO masked men threatened a Maltby takeaway owner at knifepoint during a terrifying armed robbery.

The men — who had their faces covered — stole a blue cash box from the Empire House takeaway, on Muglet Lane, at around 9.30pm on Tuesday, July 25.

They left the scene on foot, running down an alleyway toward Albert Street.

One of the men was described as 6ft 2ins tall, of a stocky build, and was wearing black jogging bottoms, white trainers and an orange/red hoody.

The second man was described as 6ft 2ins tall, of slim build, and was wearing a black hooded top with a white motif on the left shoulder/chest area, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
