Marathon charity journey for Rotherham nurse

A MENTAL health nurse is going the distance for cancer research, by running this year’s London Marathon.

Natalie Lowe, a community psychiatric nurse at The Woodlands, will pound the streets of London on April 22.

By doing so, she hopes to raise over £2,000 for the Institute Of Cancer Research.

Natalie, who works for Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH), said: “I know people that have fought and won their fight with cancer and want to help the research continue.

“I also know that some people sadly don’t win this tough battle — that’s why fundraising for further research is vital.”
