Man's front door set on fire by arsonists

A MAN in his 40s was treated by medics after his front door was set alight.

Fire crews were called to Roughwood Road, Kimberworth Park, at 8pm on Friday.

The resident was treated at the scene after breathing in smoke.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue confirmed the blaze was started deliberately.

A van was deliberately set on fire on Redscope Crescent, Kimberworth Park, at 7.30pm on Saturday.

An accidental blaze involving a minibus took place on Elsecar Road, Brampton Bierlow, at about 7.15pm the same night.

And, also on Saturday, a Toyota Avensis was deliberately set alight on Ferham Road in Holmes at 5pm.
