Man seriously hurt after car hit a tree

A MAN was left seriously injured after an early morning car crash yesterday.

The life-threatening collision happened in Swinton yesterday at 4.45am

A police spokeswoman said: “It is reported that a silver Vauxhall Vectra was travelling along the A633 Warren Vale from Swinton towards Parkgate.

“Approximately 300 metres from the junction with the B6090 Wentworth Road, it is reported that the Vectra left the road and was in collision with some trees.

“A 27-year-old man driving the Vectra was taken to hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries, where his condition is described as stable.”

Witnesses to the collision should call 101 quoting incident number 221 of February 8.
