Man recovering after M1 collision near Catcliffe

A MAN who suffered life-threatening injuries after a single car collision on the M1 last Friday (June 15) is now recovering.

The 33-year-old was hurt after a silver Toyota Yaris collided with the central reservation.

The incident happened on the northbound carriageway about a third of a mile before junction 33 at Catcliffe at around 2.40am.

A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said: “The 33-year-old is currently recovering and his injuries are no longer being treated as life-threatening.”
