Man quizzed on suspicion of attempted murder

A MAN was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an incident in Parkgate.

Police attended Bear Tree Road after reports of an assault at about 2pm on Saturday (29).

A police spokesman said a 47-year-old man was taken to hospital with suspected life-threatening injuries.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempt murder and was released on bail, she added. 

Officers investigating the incident have appealed for witnesses to call police on 101 quoting incident 488 of July 29.
