Man made threats at Mexborough house

ARMED response vehicles were called to a Mexborough house after a man threatened to harm him and others.

Police were called to the property on Coniston Road just after 4.10pm yesterday (February 27).

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “A man was making threats to harm himself and others.

“Force negotiators along with armed response vehicles were called to the house and the man was detained unharmed a short time later.”
