Man found dead near railway

A MAN’S body has been found near a railway crossing in Denaby.

A train driver alerted British Transport Police at around 8am yesterday (Sunday).

A police spokeswoman said the man had apparently been hit by a train just off Doncaster Road and that his death was not being treated as suspicious.

Officers have informed the coroner’s office and the man’s next of kin.
