Man dies after van hits pub
A 71-year-old man died when a van crashed into a pub yesterday.
He was a passenger in the Nissan Primastar, being driven by a 76-year old from Rotherham, in Wakefield.
The vehicle hit the corner of the Black Bull public house, near Midgley, shortly before 4pm.
The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
