Man bailed over scissor stabbing
A 48-year-old man was stabbed in the neck with a pair of scissors in a street attack in Eastwood on Sunday evening.
The victim, from Eastwood, was wounded in the back of his ear and treated at Rotherham General Hospital.
Police said a 24-year-old Clifton man had been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
A police spokesman said: “The attack happened at 7pm.
“A man from the local area appears to have received a wound to his neck and it is alleged this was done with a pair of scissors.”
The suspect has been bailed pending further police enquiries.
