Man and woman suffered life-threatening injuries in crash

A MAN and a woman were left with life-threatening injuries after the car they were travelling in collided with a wall and a lorry.

The 44-year-old man was driving a yellow Renault Megane convertible along Grange Mill Lane, Blackburn, from Meadowhall towards Ecclesfield at around 9.40pm on Wednesday.

The woman (28) was a passenger in the car and both were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
