Lorry blows over on M1
A LORRY which blew over in strong winds is continuing to cause delays on the M1 motorway.
The trailer fell across both northbound and southbound carriageways near junction 38, blocking traffic in both directions.
A Highways England spokesman said just one lane of each carriageway was closed as of 5pm but advised motorists to expect lengthy delays.
Motorway camera services report congestion between junction 36 and junction 39.
