LETTER: Time to slow down, Hammond

Apparently, he’s apologised to his wife Amanda, he himself thought he was going to die this time.

I feel like he must be a very selfish man to subject his wife and family to these continuous ordeals.

You can bet as soon as he feels fit and well, he’ll be off again bombing about and forgetting his weasel apology.

If I were his wife I’d say: “Get on with it then but don’t expect me to be around to pick up the pieces.”
