Letter: Time to emigrate, George

This Northern Powerhouse idea was born in 2014 by Osborne and has been static since George was Chancellor of the Exchequer.

From 2010 and he never once given the north anything, not even the snot off his nose. It was always the south who received his favours.

The way he treated north/south flooding: the north was grudgingly given money, the south ‘money’s no object’.

George was the most useless chancellor this nation has ever had a by a long chalk. It’s going to take a really bad chancellor to take the title off George.

So with George looking after our future we have nothing to look forward to.

The first idea out of George’s bag is a thick tank, sorry, think tank to come up with ideas of how to close the gap between north and south.

Perhaps a common sense idea from an old Yorkshire lad like me, “Give us the same money that’s given to the south”? Another idea George, emigrate and do us all a favour.
