Kevin shows the way for volunteers
KEVIN Barron swapped the House of Commons for the shop floor in a bid to encourage charity volunteers.
The Rother Valley MP rolled up his sleeves for a shift at the Barnardo’s shop in Wickersley, part of national Make A Difference Day.
Children’s charity Barnado’s has more than 6,000 retail volunteers helping raise funds for vulnerable youngsters and their families.

Hide AdMr Barron said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my time volunteering in the shop. It was good to meet the staff and volunteers who all do such a worthwhile job.”
Make a Difference Day is organised by UK volunteering charity Community Service Volunteers to encourage people to try unpaid service.
