Junior school set for expansion
PLACES at a primary school will increase by a third to 315 over the next four years, under plans confirmed this week.
New year groups at Aston Hall Junior and Infant will rise from this September to cope with a rising population. Building expansion will take place from next year.
Helen Barre, Rotherham Borough Council’s school admissions service leader, said: “Local authorities have a duty to provide sufficient places, promote diversity and increase parental choice.”
