Former Winterhill School pupil Jay describes his music as a mix of pop, dance, RnB and modern-day grime, using the likes of Calvin Harris as inspiration.

In 2006, Jay independently released his debut album 'Playing The Fool' and he later started his own label, Drunken Boy Records.

Since then he has supported the likes of The Courteeners and the Kaiser Chiefs and last year appeared on Tinchy Stryder’s UK tour.
