Jail sentence looms for teenager who threatened taxi driver at knifepoint
A TEENAGER who threatened a taxi driver at knifepoint and threatened to rob him has been told he is likely to face jail.
Adam Brockhurst (19), of Kingsway, Thurnscoe, attempted to rob Mohammed Yasin on Southfield Lane, Thurnscoe on April 12 after threatening him with a kitchen knife.
Brockhurst pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article and attempted robbery at Sheffield Crown Court today (Friday).

Hide AdHis case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Miss Recorder Felicity Davies said: “Keep in mind that the most likely sentence remains one of immediate imprisonment.”
Brockhurst was remanded into custody until his sentencing on June 18 at the same court.
