HOSPITAL bosses are inviting the public to hear about its performance at an annual review.
Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust’s annual members’ meeting will take place at Rotherham Hospital from 11am next Wednesday, July 19.
It will see chairman Martin Havenhand and hospital directors present accounts, plans and priorities, including its recently-agreed five year strategy
The board will also celebrate highlights from 2016/17, including progress in colleague engagement and award-winning initiatives led by staff.
Mr Havenhand said: “Our annual members’ meeting provides an ideal opportunity to hear first-hand about our commitment to delivering our vision to be an outstanding trust, providing excellent healthcare at home, in our community and in hospital and I encourage those who are interested to come along.”
A health fair will also showcase work by the trust’s various teams and share information about the services they provide for patients.
Attendees are asked to confirm by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 01709 427747.
Those unable to go who are interested to hear more about the trust are invited to become a member.
The trust currently has around 17,000 members — people who are eligible to elect hospital governors and help shape hospital services.
Members also receive news and information about meetings and events, as well as getting a chance to provide feedback about services.
