Inquest opened on Mexborough crash victim Dylan (4)

AN INQUEST has been opened an adjourned into the death of four-year-old crash victim Dylan Walker.

The hearing at Doncaster Coroner’s Court on Monday (6) was conducted by Ms Nicola Mundy.

Dylan, of Dodsworth Street, Mexborough, lost his life following a fatal collision involving a car and a lorry on December 23.

His funeral will take place at Mexborough Cemetery Chapel on Monday (13) at noon.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident and ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact 101, quoting incident number 358 of December 23.
