Hunt for knife attackers who punched woman in the face

TWO men who attacked a woman with a knife and punched her in the face on a street in broad daylight are being hunted.

The 42-year-old woman was assaulted outside a property on Dovercourt Road, Masbrough, around noon on Friday, February 10.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the men punched the woman’s face and chest, causing serious injuries. 

She added: “One of the men, described as having dark hair, is believed to have produced a knife and swung it in the woman’s direction, causing slash marks to her coat.”

Officers investigating the attack have released e-fit images of the two men (pictured) and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
