Humphry Davy house to be turned into flats

A BUILDING once planned for Rotherham’s first free school will be converted into flats, under new proposals.

The Lettings Room wants to convert Humphry Davy House, on Golden Smithies Lane in Manvers, into 109 residential units.

The vacant four-storey building was formerly the University of Sheffield’s School of Nursing and Midwifery.
