Goldthorpe woman in court after stabbing

A WOMAN was due in court this morning after being arrested following the stabbing of a man in Mexborough over the weekend.

Jaymea McDonald (21), of Albert Road, Goldthorpe, was due at Barnsley Magistrates this morning charged with section 18 wounding.

Ambulance staff called police after a 22-year-old man was treated at a property in Goldthorpe.

The man was taken to hospital where his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
