GOLDTHORPE residents will be given the chance to meet their local police and councillors during an estate walkabout next week.
The Dearne Impact Team will meet outside Dearne Enterprise Centre at 10am next Thursday before visiting the area around Barnburgh Lane, Goldthorpe, until 11am.
Streets visited will include Barnburgh Lane, Windermere Avenue, Derwent Gardens and Lindale Gardens.
A police spokeswoman said: “This is the chance for you to come out to meet officers and resident representatives and talk with them about any issues or ideas you have concerning your community.”

Hide AdThe Impact Team will be accompanied on the walkabout by members of the Impact Team Steering Group, which includes Impact Team Officers, councillors, members of tenants’ and residents’ associations, firefighters and council officers.
