Girl (17) hurt in telegraph pole crash

Police said a black VW Scirocco crashed at on Buckingham Road, Conisbrough, at 3am on Friday (13).

A spokesman added: “A female passenger suffered a head injury that is not believed to be serious.

“A 25-year-old man was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries but has since been discharged.”

Anyone who saw the incident, or the manner of driving prior to the crash, is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 67 of March 13.
