GALLERY: Teams battle it out on New York turf

THE FOOTBALL season may have long finished, but the hallowed turf at the New York Stadium has been put to good by footballers wearing red and white.

Staff from AESSeal in Parkgate rececently held a charity football tournament for the Master Cutler’s Challenge 2016, at the Millers’ HQ.

The challenge sees businesses signing up every year to raise funds for Rotherham Hospice and St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield.

There was also a match on the New York pitch in aid of breast cancer research and awareness, with Clifton FC and Herringthorpe FC battling it out.
