AN 18TH century village church will open its doors this weekend as part of fundraising to refurbish its clock.

Ravenfield St James is aiming to raise up to £18,000, which would also add electric mechanisms to the timepiece.

The church, off Church Lane, will be open tomorrow (8) and Sunday from 10am to 2pm and on Sunday from noon to 2pm.
