Friends and family pay tribute to tragic mum Megan

DOZENS of friends and family of tragic mum Megan Borrows marked her birthday weekend with a balloon launch.

More than 70 pink balloons were released from the Earl Grey pub in Rawmarsh on Saturday in Megan’s memory.

The 24-year-old mum-of-two, who died in a car crash in Kimberworth last June, would have turned 25 on Sunday.

Mum Diane Borrows said: “It was just perfect.”

Megan’s best friend Ellen Watts gave a speech in which she shared fond memories of the talented dancer.

Megan (pictured below), of West Avenue, Rawmarsh, had two daughters with partner Steve Moorcroft, and Rhia (6) and Keira (2) both attended Saturday’s tribute event
