Four men admit £10k shop burglary

FOUR men have admitted to burgling a convenience store and stealing more than £10,000 worth of cash and cigarettes.

Kieran Wragg (19), of Kynance Crescent, Brinsworth, and Ben Archer (19), Fitzwilliam Road, Eastwood, appeared at Sheffield Crown Court yesterday (Tuesday).

They both pleaded guilty to burgling McColls convenience store in Mexborough, on September 30, stealing £10,651 worth of cash and cigarettes.

Wragg also pleaded guilty to stealing a set of keys on the same day.

His brother Anthony Wragg (30), of Norfolk Park Road, Sheffield, appeared via videolink from Doncaster Prison alongside Bramwell Butler (26), of Standon Road, Sheffield – both men pleaded guilty to the same burglary charge.

Sentencing was adjourned until December 6.

The teenagers were bailed conditionally and Wragg and Butler were remanded in custody.
