Four in court over pizza delivery man stabbing

POLICE have charged four males in connection with an attack on a pizza delivery man.

Daniel Ball (22) appeared in Rotherham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday morning, charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.

Three other males—all under 18—were also charged with robbery. One of the juveniles was also charged with two counts of assaulting a police constable.

All three will appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Thursday, February 16. Ball will appear on Monday, February 13.

A 20-year-old woman also arrested has been released on bail pending further enquiries. 

The 43-year-old victim, was stabbed on Nursery Road, North Anston, at around 9.30pm on Tuesday.

He is currently in hospital being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
