Football tournament out to give cancer the red card

A TRAINING firm is holding a charity five-a-side football competition this weekend to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Brinsworth Training’s event will take place at Rotherham Football Centre from 9am to noon on Saturday and is being held to mark National Apprenticeship Week.

The competition will take place between teams which will be a mix of Brinsworth Training staff, apprentices and employers.

It will take the format of a league and everyone will play one another twice and the games will last 20 minutes.

The winning team will receive a trophy.
