Football fundraiser at Thomas Rotherham College provides Soccer Aid for hospital

FUNDRAISING footballers will face off for a charity match inspired by pop star Robbie Williams’ Soccer Aid.

Richard Banks and friend Rupert Genge raised £765 with the first Rotherham Soccer Aid game at Thomas Rotherham College in 2014 and are now planning a return fixture on Saturday, June 9.

All proceeds from the match, which kicks off at 11am at the same venue, with go to The Children’s Hospital Charity.

Richard said he had a £250 target, with players each paying £10, a justgiving page encouraging donations and a raffle.

Anyone wishing to make a donation should visit Richard's fundraising page while anyone who can offer a raffle prize can email Richard at [email protected].
