A dog walker, who did not want to be named, sent us these pictures of more waste dumped in woodland behind Kimberworth Park pub.

The dog walker said a full conservatory was also dumped in the middle of Town Lane last month.

She added: “It’s been going on for ages. There is always something tipped there.

“I’ve seen TVs, beds, sofas you name it. We walk there with the dog every day and it’s disgusting.”

Rotherham Borough Council’s Cabinet member for waste, roads and community safety Cllr Emma Hoddinott said: “Even though this incident is on private land, the council can still investigate and has taken evidence to do so. I want the council to do what it can to investigate and prosecute flytippers – it’s not acceptable.”

If anyone has information about fly tipping or suspicious activity on this layby they can contact the council on 01709 823118.
