NATIONAL Crime Agency officers have arrested five men in Rotherham over suspected child sex abuse offences.
The men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to rape and have been taken to a police station in South Yorkshire where they will be interviewed by the NCA.
All five men were arrested at separate addresses in Rotherham.
They were arrested in connection with Operation Stovewood, an independent investigation into non-familial child sexual exploitation and abuse in the town between 1997 and 2013.
Nine people previously arrested by Operation Stovewood remain on bail pending further investigation.
