Firefighters tackle deliberate blazes

At 8pm staff from Cudworth station attended Rutland Place, Wombwell where furniture and refuse were ablaze.

They left the scene around half-an-hour later.

Cudworth firefighters attended Dearne Road, Bolton-on-Dearne at around 8.45pm.

They extinguished burning rubbish in a car park, leaving the scene at around 9.15pm.

One unit from Edlington station was called to Edlington Lane, Edlington at around 9pm.

Staff put out a burning tree, leaving around 15 minutes later.
