Firefighters tackle blaze at derelict building in Eastwood

FIREFIGHTERS from Rotherham put out a fire at a derelict building in Eastwood on Saturday.

FIREFIGHTERS from Rotherham put out a fire at a derelict building in Eastwood on Saturday (23).

The crew was called to Ridge Road at 2.25pm and tackled the blaze for around an hour, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
