Firefighters attend two arson attacks

FIREFIGHTERS attended a burning car in Dinnington and a wheelie bin blaze in Mexborough last night.

One crew from Aston station arrived at Lodge Lane, Dinnington at around 11pm.

Staff left the scene around half an hour later — the blaze is thought to have been started deliberately.

A crew from Dearne station put out the wheelie bin fire in Mexborough.

They arrived at Church Street at 8.30pm, leaving 15 minutes later. The fire is thought to have been deliberate.
