Firefighters attend overnight 'arsons'

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a hay bale fire at Carr Lane, Maltby, last night.

One crew from Maltby station attended at around 10pm, leaving 50 minutes later.

The blaze is thought to have been set deliberately.

Another crew from Rotherham station put out a garden fence fire at Rother View Road, Canklow this morning.

Staff attended at around 2.30am, leaving 20 minutes later. The fire is thought to have been started deliberately.
