Fire crews tackle two deliberate blazes overnight

FIREFIGHTERS from Rotherham Fire Station attended two deliberate fires overnight.

One crew was called to Roughwood Road, Kimberworth Park at around 9.30pm.

There they found a For Sale sign on fire — crew left the scene around ten minutes later.

Another crew was called to Canklow Road, Canklow, at around 1.05am to put out a rubbish fire, leaving around half an hour later.

A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said the two fires were started deliberately.
