Fatal stabbing victim a 'wonderful mum'
THE family of 48-year-old Pamela Hardy have said they are “devastated” after she was stabbed to death on Saturday.
Pamela was found by police at a house in Foley Avenue, Wombwell, and later died in Barnsley District Hospital.
A statement from the family read: "We are all devastated by the tragic loss of our wonderful mum and nannan and we ask for our privacy to be respected at this difficult time."

Hide AdA 21-year-old man appeared at Barnsley Magistrates' Court yesterday charged with Pamela’s murder.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Wednesday, September 29.
