Fantastic Mr Fox

FANTASTIC Mr Fox and the BFG were at Oakwood High School — as pupils dressed as their favourite Roald Dahl creations.

Staff from the English department organised various activities to encourage interest and enjoyment in reading.

Year 7 pupils celebrated Roald Dahl Day with the dress-up fun after a week of learning more about the author’s work.

“It has introduced them to a new, innovative realm of reading and writing.

“It has been a fantastic week and a real pleasure to see so many staff and children engaged in our celebrations, dressing up as a Roald Dahl character.”
