ROTHERHAM United plan to hold a fans' forum before the start of next season.
The Advertiser had suggested to the club that a forum which would allow fans to air their views and ask questions of the club's hierarchy would be beneficial.
Speaking today, chief operating officer Paul Douglas confirmed plans for a get-together before the 2017/18 campaign, once the bulk of the club's summer recruitment was out of the way.
He told the Advertiser: "We have had meetings with the representitives with the Supporters Club and Supporters Trust recently.
"Once recruitment is out of the way and Paul (Warne) can be there in person, we will look to organise a fans' forum."
We want to continue holding local authorities to account, attending court and council meetings, as well as providing breaking news, competitions and offers – but it costs money. Online advertising does not cover costs, therefore we feel the need to ask for your help in ensuring we can provide the best possible coverage, online and in our printed products.
