Fans' day at Don Valley

ROTHERHAM United throw open the doors at Don Valley Stadium on Sunday for their annual open day.

The Millers will be welcoming fans in from 11am to 2pm for a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the stadium, which will include dressing room and tunnel access, a tour of the hospitality suites and a look around the matchday control room.

The first team squad will be present to meet supporters and sign autographs along with manager Ronnie Moore, assistant manager Jimmy Mullen and the rest of the coaching staff.

Also on display will be the many stalls which include cards and gifts, nail painting and beauty, Rotherham United merchandise plus much more.

Corporate sales manager Mark Hitchens said: "This is a unique opportunity for fans to have a look behind the scenes of Don Valley and meet the players all in one day.

"We have plenty of events and activities planned throughout the day which are suitable for all the family."

There will also be a bouncy castle and face painting as well as a presence by the armed forces and South Yorkshire Police.
