Family boosted by Mexborough businesses' donation

FOODBANK staff teamed up with Mexborough businesses to spread much-needed cheer to one family.

JP Walton and Son Transport, Mezza Pizza, social enterprise Food Aware and Mexborough Foodbank joined forces to provide food worth £100 for one family.

JP Walton & Son managing director, Jim Walton said: “We are proud once again to help a disadvantaged family in our local community.

“We all recognise that the winter period is very challenging for many local families so it is imperative that Foodbank supplies are stocked up."

On top of this, a total of £300 worth of food was donated by JP Walton, Mezza Pizza and Lidl, Mexborough to food supplies at Mexborough Foodbank.
