Faith and Odell in the ‘Forest Live’

SINGERS Tom Odell and Paloma Faith have been revealed as the headline act for the Forestry Commission's Forest Live shows next year.

The popular concerts take place every summer at Sherwood Pines Forest Park near Mansfield.

Odell, whose 2013 album Long Way Down helped him to the Songwriter of the Year prize at the 2014 Ivor Novello Awards, takes to the forest stage on Friday, June 26.

Income generated from ticket sales is spent on protecting forests and wildlife.

Paloma Faith will play the same outdoor venue on June 28, following up the success she scored with third album A Perfect Contradiction last year.

She said: “I am so excited to do the forest tour.

“I did it before and had such a wonderful time.

“We are very lucky in Britain to have such a beautiful and diverse landscape and I am excited to play for you there again. See you all in the summer. "
