Ex-Mayor tackles fear of heights with wing walk for Mind and Bluebell Wood
The brave borough councillor, who is also fundraising and development officer for Mind Rotherham and Barnsley, took part in a wing walk to raise cash for the Mind and Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice
This is despite her admitting: “I’m not good with heights.”
Lyndsay said she was determined to go through with the challenge in memory of Alex White, a girl she met at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice during her year as mayor.

“I supported Alex and her family when I was mayor and am still close to her mum Michelle,” she said.
“I promised Alex I would do this so I had to go through with it.
“I thought it was quite common for people to do skydives and bungee jumps so I wanted to do something a bit different.”
Lyndsay (pictured below safely on the ground) has raised over £1,500 for the two charities.
