Driver freed after van crash

FIREFIGHTERS freed a driver after his van collided with a parked vehicle early on Wednesday morning.

The Citroen Berlingo was travelling along Wortley Road in Kimberworth when it struck another van shortly before 6.30am.

The second vehicle was knocked into a Mitsubishi Carisma.

The Citroen driver, in his 40s, was freed by firefighters from Rotherham station and taken to hospital.
