Driver 'critical' after M1 smash
A MOTORIST was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after an early hours crash on the M1.
The 41-year-old man was described as being in a critical condition after the collision shortly after midnight on Wednesday (30 December).
His blue Ford C-Max was in collision with a green Volvo LGV on the northbound carriageway between junctions 32 and 33 at 12.15am.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has useful information is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident 8 of December 30.
